Worrying all the Way to Beauty ...

I worry about many things. I worry about the world ... our Pups ... Skip, my husband. Why? They are all I have in this world ... and the world ... is all we all have. What happens in the world affects all of us ... now, more than ever. Who would have thought that?

Remember, years ago ... we never knew anything in the Middle East would affect us like it does now. We have truly discovered what a small world it really is ... that we live in.

Internet, travel ... people constantly moving from other countries ... here. No one is ever surprised anymore ... or that happy to see someone from another country. That's because ... everyone is from another country ... and it's like an everyday thing, now. I find that sad because ... there's so much to learn from others. Personally, I'd love to talk to lots of people from different cultures, learn ... taste, experience all the wonderful, exotic foods, things in faraway lands.

In Raleigh, NC ... everyone is from somewhere else. They are from this country, or other countries. I'm constantly amazed when we go to Sam's Club, out shopping. Some wear their beautiful dresses, garb ... the other day I saw a beautiful couple, both appeared to be from India.

The woman had on the most striking, beautiful colors ... her dress, the material draped over it. Oh my ... colors like I use in my drawings. I had to tell her how pretty she looked. Thankfully, she knew what I meant. Her smile was as pretty as her dress.

I will stop here ... notice that I began writing about worrying ... and this is ... where it led me in writing this morning. Now, I'm smiling. Now ... I'm thinking about beauty.

Oh, how I loved this! We all need to learn how to see the beauty in the little things that are given to us.

Thank you. I got a happy smile reading that you liked that. I didn't know what I was going to end up with as I was worrying :)

great post. somehow we seem to lose the sight to see the beauty in small things as we get older, it is nice to know, some people still see the beauty in the smaller things in life.

It's definitely important to be concerned about something, but worry usually doesn't solve anything. If you try to understand everything about a problem, there is really no need to worry.
