journal 06-13-2015
Good morning or whatever part of the day is for you. Today is Saturday, June 13, 2015. The temperature is 63.2°F and the humidity is 85% at 4:32 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0.7 mph with gusts of 3.1 mph. It was overcast and dry where I stuck my head out, but the sky really looked like it wanted to rain. It did much of yesterday morning but didn’t rain. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 78° (“nearly the same as yesterday”) today.
Yesterday was an incredibly unproductive day, at least for me. Mr. Siduri got the kitchen painting done. He may need another coat, but oh, it looks so nice. It looks blue in some lights and a light purple in others. I don’t care. I like it. He still needs to do some touch-up
I slept most of the day. I did some tweaking of the fairy tale I’ve been working on and fell asleep sitting up on the couch. Even when I was awake, it was difficult not to doze off.
Boy, do I feel like a lazy @ss .
There’s a writer’s club meeting later this morning. I’ll go to that and bring some of the surfeit of cookies.
The fairy tale is just about ready to send off to the contest.

Thanks. I'm liking it more the more the closer it gets to being finished. I'll have to post a pic of it now that most of the color is up.

I've chosen to have an unproductive day today, they're necessary at times. Still sounds as if you're pretty busy though.

I slept quite a bit this weekend ( I wasn't feeling well); sometimes you just need it. I'm glad you're happy with the kitchen colors. :)

Hope you're feeling better and rested. Yes, I'm liking the kitchen colors. Even better, Mr. Siduri is as well. It's not quite completed, but will be by the time of the 4th of July barbecue. And he wants new light fixtures. It should look great. He's not be idle a day since he retired. He says he sometimes wonders how he found time to hold down a fulltime job all those years.
