ALMOST Some Compassion for Spiders

No, I don't really have much compassion for spiders. I just feel a bit guilty at the thought of immediately smashing one when I see it crawling on a wall in my space. I use to smash the suckers. Now, I get a cup and papers and allow it to go inside where I quickly take it back outside where it belongs. Even the ones that move super fast.

On the other hand, we don't get huge spiders where we are. If I found a larger spider that looked questionably dangerous I would smack that sucker! No one in my household is getting bit by something that could be harmful. We don't tend to get harmful spiders thankfully. Just really annoying house spiders. And back OUTSIDE they all go. I DON'T do spiders! And I would jump if I missed and the thing landed on me.

I quite like spiders. But then I live in the UK where we don't need to worry about them. Yesterday I came in from a walk and went to wash my hands, as I had been petting a dog. In the mirror, I saw a new jewel - a spider hanging by a thread from my hair! It got gently deposited outside the window.

I don't like spiders either and the dangerous ones really scare me, but sometimes when I see one sitting in web minding it's own business, I get a kind of sweet feeling towards it because I think of Charlotte the spider in the story Charlotte's Web and if you know the story, Charlotte was a sweet compassionate spider.

From your hair? I would literally jump and freak out in a few split seconds--and then promptly do the same thing. Eek! You are brave

Charlotte's web is a great story and the video is good too.
