Using a Tablet On Here is Difficult

Middle of the Night
I am on my Tablet at the minute (the technological one, not the medication). It's the early hours of the morning and I couldn't get back to sleep so am spending a short time here before going back to bed. The Tablet boots up very quickly, whereas it takes my PC at least 10 minutes to load.
Tablet Problems
I started an article on birthday party tips but found the following problems.
- I only get a small window to type and I can't enlarge it
- If I make a mistake, the tablet highlights it and I can touch the screen to amend it. BUT the window for typing is so small that I hit the submit button by mistake.
- The article was too short to submit so it showed an error.
- No problem, kept typing but then found I only had two choices, restore or submit. I could no longer save the draft.
- I need to save drafts frequently on the tablet because it crashes out of PP very often.
- I decided to exit the page rather than submit but found it had been submitted anyway, so I had to delete it.
- I ended up with no article and no draft to save for later
This draft saved
I saved this draft for completing on my PC. I get a much bigger window for typing on my computer and I have a "submit" and a "save draft" button available to me.
elitecodex and maelou , was there anything else I could have done to save the article for later without having to delete it please?

since getting my new tablet for my birthday i have been using it almost exclusively, the laptop has hardly been on at all. I find i cannot get formatting, even just basic spacing between paragraphs to work on my tablet. They show fine for me in the text box, which is tiny for me too by the way, but disappear when submitted.

Like CalmGemini - I never use a tablet for writing online. I just can't be bothered with all the things which are awkward to do or go wrong frequently.

I am not a fan of tablets, smart phones and the like. My favorite is my good ol'dependable hardwired PC with a real, honest to God, keyboard that, if you have typing experience, you don't have to look down upon for fear of "typos"

I have never tried to submit an article on an android or tablet. Ten minutes is too long for a PC to boot up. Read my recent post about computer maintenance. There are a number of things you can do to make your PC boot up and run faster.

The mobile version could you some love but I'm sure it's something they're thinking about and working out. Good thinking to keep track of ideas though!

Thanks but I need a new one. Also the C drive is almost full, so there's not much space for "working". Will sort it at the end of the month after I have submitted my thesis.

I love my tablet and wouldn't be without it. This is the only site I have problems with...

I stop short of confusing the tablet with the pill before I go through your post .I have no Tablet .I think it must be not a patch on a laptop to use .

It is fantastic. It's fast, has a lot of memory and good sound - better than the laptop! I have a a 10 inch screen so it's not that small, not like a phone. I read all my emails on it and reply to them. It has a slider keyboard but I don't often use it but it is useful for longer posts. I am using it for this reply but I get lots more space to type in the comments, much more than when creating a post.

I have good very fast connection but the charge is the same whether I use it a lot or a little. In this house, with 2 PCs, 2 laptops and at least 3 tablets, we need a good connection and I don't like paying by usage, so I have a "use all you want" package.

I really enjoy my tablet, but must admit I won't try it for surfing, etc. I use it strictly to play videos, most of which I have already downloaded. I'm a desktop person. This site has one or two griefs for me. You can't do anything here until the ads completely load, and scrolling can be difficult.
