Journal 05-27-2015
Good morning or whatever part of the day is for you. Today is Wednesday May 27, 2015. The temperature is 61.7°F and the humidity is 81% at 5:41 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 1.6 mph. It was overcast when I stuck my head out, just like yesterday. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 76° again today.
The temporary crown is in place and I can close my jaws again. Simple things mean so much.
I finally got the review up on Examiner. Took me long enough. So on to the next one. I hope I can have it done by tomorrow.
Working more on Siegfried I get to the point where I think: This is all crap. I’ll have to tear it all up and start over. On good days, I think: hey forget self-publishing. Let me find the contact information for Tor, a big fantasy publishing house. Truth is, I’m too close to the thing to be any judge. That’s one reason why I’m happy to have found the critique group.

That is why I want-to find an agent, I know I am too close to my "baby" in order to edit...at least in the story line, the format, I learned in Creative Writing class and so I am able to correct it. I am hoping my neighbor has time tomorrow to be with me when I open my final. Don't know if I told you, but my final was a mock submission of a query, synopsis, and the first 2 chapters and I need someone who is supportive when I open it. As far as I know, the guy probably didn't even look at it.
