We Came, We Saw, and Somehow a Computer Decided To Work

Today was overall a low key kind of day, doing laundry, heading to the library, getting lunch, coffee, and hey easy going kind of day. A little rain and whatnot but overall a darned fine solid kind of a day. No big deal and a nice Monday. Then my Mom handed me her laptop and asked me to figure out what the heck is going on with Google Chrome. As now Google Chrome won't work at all on their computer, won't even open from the icon. Now they've had battery issues with it recently that they fixed up by taking the battery out and putting it back in. Now usually when you're given a computer issue you usually think, "Okay there's something weird going on..." because I've had to take off random malware and so forth on their computers to get them working again. This time though somehow someway, Google Chrome would not come in at all. I was wandering around online and looking for solutions and nothing seemed to fit what was going on with the laptop. It was getting a little annoying.

Looked through Task Manager...nothing. Zero sign of anything that was going on. It was odd and I read that McAfee could be a problem and it wasn't even on the laptop. Multitudes of weird things could have been wrong and nothing still seemed to make sense with Google Chrome not opening. Just as I was about to delete and install Google Chrome I decided to click on Google Chrome again to see if it would work, just for laughs. It worked and I have no idea exactly what I did to get Google Chrome working again. It still makes no sense why it wasn't working in the first place but I'm not one to argue. Whatever happened it worked and I'm happy.

Sometimes when faced with a computer problem, it fixes itself and you have no idea why. No moral, no rhyme or reason, just the computer decided to be cranky and then got in a better mood and worked once more. Shrug, smile, and onwards with the day. Computers are strange.

I swear that so many times machines/software simply wants someone to pay attention to them, so they quit working until enough people do emoticon

It's so true! Chrome would not work at all and then suddenly, boom! Works now. I shook my head and declared success.
