Proofreading, Anyone?

"Need help cleaning and hauling stiff from storage unit"

I spend the first hour or two of each morning reading, researching and writing. With a growing dissatisfaction with my job I've been spending an increasing amount of time on Craigslist, poring over job opportunities, apartments, etc. and I find myself straying into other areas of Craigslist, which can often be very entertaining.

I wish I'd thought of this a long time ago, since I've seen some humorous posts while searching. This particular heading is, I'm assuming, supposed to say "stuff", not "stiff". Unless, of course, this person really does have a dead body to get out of their storage unit. I'm far from perfect. In fact, I've read over many of my short stories, emails, PP posts, etc. and have been able to pick out errors and misspellings.

Occasionally one of our local news stations will post headlines on their home page that bring out a chuckle.

Occasionally, such mistakes like this do happen in our posts too.Sometimes we come across some bloopers which are hilarious.

I would assume the same thing! Hopefully it is just an error on their part...

It's easy to get lost in that kind of stuff. Of course, if you found a number of them it would make you some hilarious posts here.

If I had to get rid of a stiff, I would probably need help, too, but then I'd have to "tie up the loose ends" and I'd have another stiff to get rid of!

I'd like to think we don't make these mistakes on purpose. I find the automatic spell check makes for some hilarious bloopers.
