Even more musings for Friday, May 15, 2015
It's now 1:37 p.m. EDT here in Miami. As you can imagine, it's now warmer than it was when I last chimed in: the temperature is 86 degrees Fahrenheit under a mix of clouds and sun (60% cloud cover). Though the humidity has dropped to 49% and the easterly breeze is blowing at 11.5 mph, the feels-like factor is 92 degrees Fahrenheit. Per my computer's AccuWeather app, it might start raining in 103 minutes. It doesn't look like it'll be stormy, but who knows. South Florida weather can get unpredictably stormy, especially when heat and moist air masses are around.
The home health aide just called to say she can't come today. A medical emergency of some sort arose; she did not go into details. She called her bosses at the nursing services agency to see if they can send a replacement, but I doubt that they will do so at a reasonable hour. Luckily, Mom's still sleeping and my sister told me she'll come to help if no substitute HHA is sent by 2:30 p.m.
As for writing? It seems that my Muse has decided to take a day off. I have no story ideas that are more ambitious than Persona Paper posts, and I can't seem to settle on a movie or TV show to do a review on.
Ugh. This is not my day.
