Things That Changed My Life

Hello there, everyone. I found this writing prompt, and well...I wanna do it haha. It states: "List of Things That Changed Your Life: It could be as simple as a book or meeting a certain person…what has changed your life?"

Okay, I changed it - it originally asked "What has changed your life for the better?" but not all changes are good, so I am doing this one in my own way. You are welcome to try this on your own post, and you can do it however you want to. I'm going to list the first three changes that come to mind....

1. Losing my Daddy to Lung Cancer back in June of 2013.

2. Ending a long-time friendship (we have recently reconnected but work with me here).

3. Going on my first big trip away from home (Wrestlemania 29 week; NJ/NY; April of 2013).

Okay, the first two things on the list have made me realize that you really never know what is going to happen tomorrow. Anything can change at the blink of an eye. The people you have in your life today may not be there tomorrow, as scary as it sounds. But it also showed me that I can stay strong and get through just about anything thrown my way. But don't let it fool you, I miss my Daddy and I wish he was still here with us. I don't want you all to think I don't miss him. :(

The third one showed me that dreams really can come true, and you do have to work to get there. I have always wanted to go to Wrestlemania; it's like the Superbowl of professional wrestling. The opportunity presented itself a few years ago, so I worked my butt off and saved up for a year, and I made it happen. It was one of the best weeks of my life. You never know what you're going to be able to do, so don't be afraid to get out there and try. :)
