Trying again...

Here I am trying this again.

The poetry form that I was attempting in my last post that I "loused up" was called the Kerf, a form attributed to a lady by the name of Marie Adams.

The Kerf is twelve lines long, with four stanzas of three lines each.

The rhyme scheme for the stanzas is

Sigh. It would help if I looked at directions of what I was trying to write, I think I loused up again, as I did not notice that the last line of every stanza has the same rhyme. ;( Oh, well. I don't know what's wrong with my head lately that I can get these right...or maybe I haven't gotten any form I've tried right, who knows...;p

The heart is deceitful

More than any other thing;

Really, we cannot trust even our own.

Oh, how many troubles

Following its whims can bring

Many times away from God we will roam.

So don't trust that first thought

That may come into your mind;

Do you really know where that thought came from?

For maybe you just ought

To shove that thought right aside

And it will be better in the long run.

i know that in everything that we think and do we should always find a mindset that really belongs to God and do not use what other people thinks or views but only God's views so we can't be deceived.
