The Festival of Book Reading
Right now thanks to Goodreads I've been in a massive reading challenge and so far I'm just over half way through the challenge. I set a goal for 125 books and I'm 63 books into the challenge. I swear it does keep you in check and makes sure that you get some kind of reading in during the week. As hit up my local library I got one book recently from there, Absolute Green Arrow by Kevin Smith, and I actually got told to make sure I take good care of it. The library is making sure that their patrons don't screw up their books. I can't blame them and I always make sure to take care of my books anyway, nice to see the library taking special note on this too. The Absolute Green Arrow book runs around 99.99 and I have another book I'm looking over that runs 125.00 so those are some books that need to be protected. I just hope that the library people make sure that after I get done that they don't end up losing them or that other people take care of them as well as I do. That can be frustrating as I've seen books that I've gotten from there in the past and now they're lost to the system so to speak, thanks to other patrons losing the books. They do bill people who lose the books but still I imagine some people dodge those and that's so annoying as the library gets those books to be read not to be lost, just frustrating to me.
Right now though on a lighter note I am reading the Star Wars Vol. 1 Omnibus, which is the classic Marvel series and is the mega expensive book I'm borrowing from the library. So far so much fun and I plan on doing more stuff like this here in the future. Now this is my official back to Persona Paper post, I've had a wacky month and now I am back in action. I love reading because I am a librarian by profession. Thanks for sharing this article. Good morning.

I love to read kids story books instead of novels. I guess I prefer big letter words.

Really? That's awesome! LIbrarians are amazing people, I know a couple of them myself.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Kids Story books can be a lot of fun as well. :)

You're much more ambitious than I. I'm only reading 50 books for the goodreads challenge. So far so good.

Holy clams, you've read 63 books so far? It normally took me about a year to read that many , and that was before I spent so much time online. Now I'm lucky if I make it through any actual books (I'm trying to stay caught up with my magazine subscriptions, instead, but that is also a losing battle).
