journal 05-05-2015

Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Tuesday May 5, 2015. The temperature is 59.4°F and the humidity is 7% at 4:58 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 3.1 mph. It was overcast when I stuck my head out. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 71° today.
The bathroom now has a door on it. The whole bathroom looks a lot better with new paint and a new light fixture. It’ll look that much nicer when the new floor and the new toilet go in Friday. Mr. Siduri has put a lot of work into it.
While the doors were drying in the garage, he left the side door open to get that much more air moving. Gremlin came in and made his way into the house. I looked up from typing and here was this cat, who is not allowed in the house because of Mr. Siduri’s allergies, wandering into the living room. When he does make his way in, I don’t make a big deal of it so as not to make him afraid or angry. He usually just wants to come in and say hello to Mr. Siduri and then is content to leave. This time he really wanted to explore. Mr. Siduri came out and he ran away. I just opened the back screen door and he found his way out. He’s so funny. I miss the days, though, we he’d curl up next to me on the couch or sleep on the back of the couch. When he was a kitten, he’d chew on my hair. I don’t miss that so much.
We have a lunch planned with friends for Thursday at a German restaurant. That should be nice. It’s been a while since we’ve seen them.
Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy. Hope the day brings you good things.
