Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Sunday May 3, 2015. The temperature is 60.3°F and the humidity is 53% at 6:04 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 2.2 mph. Still dawning. Hear a dove calling. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 77° today. Again, it’s supposed to be “much cooler” than it was yesterday.

The cookies turned out a bit dark yesterday. Mr. Siduri liked them, but I don’t want to take them to his mom. They got a little hard as they cooler. I don’t know what went wrong. I thought I had this cookie thing down. Last time they turned out just right. Damnit. Well, take her some next time. We’ve got her card and a big bad of candy, so the cookies might have been a little overkill.

This bathroom it really starting to some together. Mr. Siduri has been painting and redoing a lot there. He’s got a new light fixture and has removed and cleaned the mirror/medicine cabinet fixture. He also has been repainting. The new floor is scheduled for Friday. He’s happily making a mess of the old floor until then because it’s going away.

After the disappointment and sadness of reading about the abuse with Marion Zimmer Bradley, I came across an essay online about pedophilic themes in the writings of another author I used to read when I was young, Piers Anthony. I gave up on his stuff when I was in my early 20s IIRC. I remember he did like writing about a bit of a roll in the hay, the prettier and more buxom the girl the better. Yesterday, I went to the library and checked out the five most recent Xanth books to see if the author of the essay was right of the pedophilia stuff. They should be quick reads. Anthony is still alive but elderly. He’s been cranking out the Xanth books pretty regularly. I think I read the first four or five back in the day.
