Life After Audit

Since putting the to bed mid-week, I have managed to catch up on a few things around the house.

I have written several for publication elsewhere, the , started sorting out the , washed the and bathmat, caught up on the washing up, spoken to my parents...

It's amazing how much you can get done when you don't have to work every hour for an externally imposed deadline.

Our friends are due over later for Mr Chazer's birthday celebrations part 2, so we'll be onto the fourth bottle of of the week. (Monday we drank cava because the shower had been fitted, finally. Tuesday we drank cava because it was Mr Chazer's birthday. Wednesday we drank cava because the audit was finally in.)

And having been in the store well before 10am this morning, and home before 11am, I am now going to have another mug of tea and tackle the rest of the conservatory. If I'm a bit scarce around here for a few hours, you'll know why.

Tackling the conservatory is very relaxing!

Cleaning does not come to mind when I think about relaxing.

Glad you are getting everything caught up. That sounds like a reason to celebrate also emoticon

Still underway but I have paused for food and a cuppa. I am utterly shattered after this week, switching midway from mental to physical exhaustion.

It's cathartic rather than relaxing. Plus, if we are going to use the conservatory as a dining area tonight, it needs to be done.

Anything that does not involve work is a reason to celebrate after the hours I have put in lately, trust me!

I understand what you were saying. LOL

When you've finished with the conservatory you could treat yourself to a bottle of cava! emoticon

Funny you should have said that kasman . Considerably more than the aforementioned bottle of cava was drunk last night. No sore heads this morning though, for a wonder.
