I'm Dragging

Boy am I dragging. I just can't seem to get much rest. Okay, I'm only been averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night if that. This morning I heard my hubby get up for work and that was at 3:30.

Anyway, I decided to try and cool it on the coffee today. Last night, I took a nice warm shower hoping that would relax me enough. And yes it did relax me when I was up and watching TV. I even felt tired. So, I went to bed. And then I was wide awake.

My thought, since I couldn't sleep I should just get up. So I got up, and did some reading. As a matter of fact, I read until I couldn't see the words on the page. Good time to go to bed, right. Well that is what I thought.

It took me a while to get to sleep but my shoulder was giving me fits. I reckon my shoulder is the culprit for me not getting my necessary sleep. Hopefully the Crestor will be out of my system soon, and I'll feel a lot better. Until then, I guess I'll just muddle along as best as I can.

One last thought. It really is not fun watching other people sleep. The devil side of me, finds myself wanting them to share in my pain. But the angel side of me says, "Let them sleep they need their rest." And yes, it is the angel side that wins.

I, too, am dragging a bit this morning. I've got so much to get done today, but I'm not feeling like doing very much at all. I wish I could stop yawning!

I hear you. I'm got to get some things done in the house. I may get some of it done, how much, I don't know. Have a good day.

Ugh. I feel for you. I only got about four hours of sleep last night, too, but in my case I had a bad case of indigestion or something like that. ;(

I hope you can sleep soon. I agree it is always tempting to wake someone else up also.

I'm going to be going into the doctor next week. I believe I know that most of it comes down to my arm and shoulder. So I will ask if she can do something about that. It will probably help a lot. Or, the Crestor may be out of my system by then and the pain will be gone. However, the recliner seems like a good idea. I may give it a try.

Ugh, that is definitely not a good way to lose sleep. I have noticed that without sleep one has a tendency to be a little cranky, forgetful and zombie-like. I finally got a good night's rest last night. At least it got rid of that crankiness I felt.

Since hubby get's up at 3:30 in the morning, I don't think he would appreciate it much. So, I refrained. And the dog, I decided if I bothered her, she would want to go out. And then she would head back to bed. I did finally get a good night's rest. I feel so much better today.
