Journal 04-26-2015

Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Sunday April 26, 2015. The temperature is 52.2°F and the humidity is 92% at 5:33 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 1.6 mph. It was clear when I stuck my head out but, surprisingly, there was some standing water on the pavement. It rained hard enough yesterday at least to rearrange the dirt on the cars. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 75 today.
We’re going up to see an exhibit on the Dead Sea Scroll today. I’m looking forward to that.
Mr. Siduri made chicken enchiladas last night from a kit that were pretty good. One side had green sauce (for me) and another red sauce. We couldn’t finish them so they sit in the fridge, ready to be a side dish for dinner another night.
We watched a Jimi Hendrix documentary the other night with interviews from his father and a cousin, done about 25 years after his death. I’ve still got various Hendrix tune playing in my head. What powerful music, even after all these years.
Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy.
Writing schedule:

My favorite Jimi Hendrix song is "All Along the Watchtower" (although I guess technically, that is a Bob Dylan song, but I like Hendrix's version of it), and my friend did a great version of "Foxy Lady" at karaoke one night that I enjoyed.

Both great songs. I like "Little Wing" and "Castles Made of Sand" among many others. "Purple Haze." Your friend has more courage than I. Even suitably, um, lubricated, I don't think I could do any karaoke.

Look like it is a good day for you to view the Dead Sea scrolls. At least it is not raining hard.

It was a lovely day. The only problem was, a whole bunch of other people thought so, too.

Thanks. Siegfried will take a while, but I've got a couple of little things available for download on amazon. I'm not even as close as I thought I was with Siegfried. *sigh*
