Bean Town - Captcha Challenge

Been a minute since I did a captcha challenge so I decided to do one now. I got 'bean town' and of course the first thing that comes to mind is Boston. I had to look it up on why Boston is referred to as 'Bean Town'. Read that Boston became nationally known as 'Bean Town' as a result of a publicity stunt during an event called Old Home Week in 1907. A million stickers were printed showing two clasped hands over a bean pot. The image became Boston's unofficial symbol and it eventually made its way to other postcards printed during that time. Small ornamental bean pots were also given to troops in a Civil War reunion held in Boston as souvenir. By 1896, a bean pot was placed on the old Common Council Chamber in the old City hall validating beans as an official Boston trademark.

Of course, I can never have a post about Boston without mentioning the major sports teams of the region... Boston Bruins, NBA champions Boston Celtics, world series champs Boston Red Sox, and Superbowl champions New England Patriots!!!

I didn't know this about Boston. To me Boston always brings to mind the famous "tea party".

I've never been into Boston, but I want to visit there very soon. I think when I'll see a beans I will not remember Boston but Hunts Pork and Beans... lol! that is my favorite plus rice, I eat a lot of that and my mom always scold me.

Hunts Pork and Beans is my favorite. I can eat it everyday! It is my go-to meal when I do not like the food at home. LOL!

Yeah, I wasn't aware about the 'bean town' reference until I came across it online.
