Eh, Another Slow Day

The day has gone okay, as the kiddies were all gone by 4:30pm. I had the evening free so I worked on the few assignments I had. I got distracted for a bit, but I did eventually turn my focus back to my work.

I still have two more assignments to do on Zerys, which I will do after I am finished working on my blogging posts (which is what I consider my posts on here and other websites to be). I guess after that I will look through the job boards again, but I am thining what I found is going to be it for the night. I am considering getting up a little earlier than usual to grab more assignments. I don't really WANT to do it, but oh well, you do what you gotta do. The kiddies should be gone by the same time as today, so I can always grab a nap afterwards if I'm too tired. It all depends what time I get offline and head to bed. I am thinking of calling it a night earlier since I won't have any work to keep me awake, and I have been doing okay with posting my blogs at a decent time today.

My client did tell me last week that more work would be rolled out, but some of it is bigger so it may take a little longer. But she did assure me that the work is coming, so be on the lookout. Here is to hoping that it is sooner rather than later.

But I am grateful to find what I can on the boards. Even if it's not as much, it's still something to go towards my next payout. I can cash out on Textbroker this Thursday, and I'll get paid from Zerys on May 1st. Well, at least I have time to build my cash up on Zerys (which is my main source of income).

I'm going to head out of here, since this post is probably boring enough anyways. I hope you guys are having a productive day. Take care! :)

I tried Textbroker for a while, but I found it really hard to get enough work consistently

I agree that blogging should also be considered as work.

I haven't tried Textbroker. This is the first time I've heard of them. I guess, it won't hurt if i check them out. Sounds like you had a productive day - good for you!

I use both Textbroker and Zerys. When work slows down on one, I switch to the other. Sometimes you have to keep checking back, or step out of your comfort zone. I did that one this week and it's kind of working out for me; as it adds some variety outside of my usual client. Sometimes I play the "if it's not broke don't fix it" card, but I really do need to step out of my comfort zone (with writing) from time to time.

I don't make enough with my blogging on here or similar sites to consider it work; and MY blogs are not up yet. I mainly write for clients, with deadlines and instructions, but I enjoy working with them and it does give me weekly pay. emoticon
I really do need to get my own blogs up. I need to go through my old YCN articles, sort them, touch them up because so many are probably outdated and THEN get the blog(s) up and running. -Bangs head against the desk-

Oh you should definitely check out them and Zerys, familiarize yourself with them, and give 'em a whirl! It could lead to something! :)

My biggest issue with Textbroker was for the level the assigned me to had very little work available at the time and I moved on.
