Journal 04-20-2015

Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Monday April 20, 2015. The temperature is 59.3°F and the humidity is 79% at 4:46 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0.7 with gusts of 3.1 mph. The sky was overcast with patches of blue when I looked out this morning. No Big Dipper, no moon. Weather Underground is predicting a 10% chance of precipitation and a high of 73 today.

Going over my stats from Examiner, I got a nice and quite unexpected bump. I’m still earning pocket change there, but at least it’s moving. I should post a review of Midnight today and see if I can’t keep the momentum going.

We visited Mr. Siduri’s mom yesterday. She seems to be doing well. Physically stronger and in the mood to tell stories of days gone by. I enjoy that. But the aura of paranoia is still there with tales of people coming into her room or going through her purse, stealing linens, etc., which is sad and hard to listen to. I don’t know that those sorts of things are ever going to go away.

We went out to eat. My stomach was still bothering me so I ordered bland food and drank only water. That was OK.

So enjoy getting up early in the morning when things are so quiet. Just the refrigerator hum.

Medium range projects: get six copies of the first chapter of Siegfried ready for the critique group Thursday night. Go over and over and over the first chapter so you don’t look like an idiot. Then continue rewriting the second chapter to get it consistent and coherent for the next group.
