Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2015

I have been looking forward to this event every year for the past six years now and this year, 2015 will be one of my favourites. Why, you might ask? Well, it's because two of my favourite artists are going to be inducted today! And I am talking about Ringo Starr (The Beatles' drummer if you aren't familiar) and Greenday !

Finally, after God-knows-how-long, Ringo Starr has been given the recognition that he rightfully deserves. This should have been awarded to the man years ago but I am not really sure why it took them this long to do so. Anyways, he's finally getting it now and all I can do is twist and shout!

Greenday on the other hand has been qualified for five or maybe six years now and yes, they could have been inducted earlier as well but I'd forgive the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since Greenday hasn't been waiting that long (compared to Ringo).

I'll surely be looking forward to Greendays and Sir Paul McCartney's epic jam. Also, Paul and Ringo will be doing a number together! \m/

And oh, one last trivia before I go back to the live coverage. The Beatles is the first and only band (to date) wherein all it's members- John, Paul, George and finally, Ringo was inducted (individually) to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Another milestone set by the legendary band, The Beatles!

It's shocking how time flies by. Listening to Billie Joe and that new band Green Day seems like yesterday and now they have been around long enough for the HOF. The Hall is rather stupid upon deciding when to induct. They passed over Heart and Linda Ronstadt for an obscene number of years. Pearl Jam has NOT been inducted!!!!

Cool milestone! They are worthy. :)

The Beatles is evergreen. Some of their songs just stay with you, and it is not necessarily about love. "Let it be" is a perfect example.
