Maybe I Can Finally Get Some Things Done Around Here, by Guiness the Cat

Hello, it is finally me, Guiness the Cat, back from all the exhausting supervising I have had to do recently. You don't know how terribly exhausting it has been to orchestrate all the craziness around here of late!
I am so far behind, I hardly know where to start.
I have finally goaded my human into finishing her taxes (all the accounts, after all, have her name on them, making her the one responsible for the taxes on all the money I earn). Now it is time for her to get back to making money instead of giving it to someone other than me. So as soon as she got home from church tonight, I met her at the door and led her to the office and told her to get back to making some Walmart money to buy me cat food and insulin while I laid on the bed and supervised.
Well, first she said I already had cat food. I said I was tired of what was in there, and she did her silly routine about needing to eat what's already paid for. So I told her to go buy something different, and then that would be already paid for and then I would have to eat it. (It stands to reason, don't you think?)
Next, she wandered off, saying something about needing her phone, and I had to go back and get her again. Honestly, humans are so bad about straying from where they are supposed to be.
Then she pointed out that I used to pay for my own cat food and insulin and litter, back in the glory days on Bubblews, and I need to get off the box and replace that income. If I would spend more time being brilliant and cute, she said, maybe I would be getting more income from my blog.
I really don't think she realizes how much energy goes into making sure she does her job. A cat can only do so much.
And it's hardly my fault there aren't more cat food surveys available for me to do.
I have finally shoved Debbi into the 21st century. We have wi-fi now, so there's no reason she can't earn me cat food money on the laptop while I have the desktop all to myself. Maybe I will finally be able to catch up posting all the wonderful new spring photos of me that have just been sitting in a folder on the computer.
But first, I'm going to turn both computers and the phone back over to her and let her multitask on that cat food money.
Talk to you soon.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

You mean to say Debbie hasn't finished her taxes yet?!? It's a good thing she has you to keep her on her toes, or else she'd never get anything done! *doh* lol

Hi, Dear Handsome Supervisor/Cat in Charge Guiness. Great to see you've finally returned. I remember the Bubblews glory days as well and I wrote my cute little paws off. I brought in big bucks back then, much more than my mom did with her less interesting posts. My mom doesn't do well with anyone supervising her so I've got it easier than you. I'm pretty much free to eat and sleep and play with my toys and eat and sleep and ....... Anyhoo, I missed you. Smooches and high fives, your gal Mildred the Lazy but Lovely.

This is Guiness the Cat. I got her to finish them at 4 o'clock this afternoon. I'm worn out.

Dear Mildred the Lazy but Lovely,
1Debbi would get absolutely nothing done if I didn't supervise. I just had to remind her it's time for my insulin and my supper. How scatterbrained can one human be? A cat's work is never done.
Missed you, too. At least now I can have a computer to myself, although I would prefer a tablet. Swiping is less work than typing when you don't have fingers. I must get off my new-found box (which is another story) and meow at the scatterbrained human some more. Talk to you soon.
Sincerely, Guiness the Tuckered Kitty

Aw, you poor thing! Hopefully you can relax...for the time being!

Good luck on making more cat food money. I hope you enjoy the new flavor.

Poor dear Guiness. You sure do look all tuckered out in your photo. Try to relax now for a few days, eat a lot and increase your nap-taking. That's what I'm doing and I'm not even tuckered out! Your friend, nap-taking Mildred the Cat.

MelissaE - This is Guiness the Cat. I saw your comment on the other post. Unfortunately my human can be a klutz at times and accidentally reposted my post after I posted it quite fine on my own, so I had to delete the extra. Thanks for reading.

Dear Mildred the Cat,
1I can always count on you for sage advice!
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

This is Guiness the Cat. You're so sweet. Purrs to Riley.

Dear Guiness, I am glad she got the taxes done. That could have been very bad for both of you. But us humans are pulled in many directions at times

Dear Guiness it is tax time over here as well and I am having similar problems. My human has been galivanting around the countryside while the small ones are on school holidays and has been seriously remiss in her secretarial duties. Hopefully everything will quieten down soon and we can get back to serious feline conversations - Morpheus

You're doing a grand job Guiness, keep up the pressure!

Guinness, it's good to see you performing your finest skill: being in snooze mode.

Oh marvelous, Feline Supervisor of All Works! I think my church sister Terry could have written that about her former felines Anna and Polly. We certainly had a similar when Reggie was here, as no workman ever let him out of the house when he had weaseled his way in.

This is Guiness the Cat. All you humans should learn the value of just chilling out on a nice cardboard box.
OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on April 17, 2015, 1:16 AM
Dear Morpheus,
I wish humans would get their priorities straight. The cat is supposed to come first.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

This is Guiness the Cat. I am pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.

This is Guiness the Cat. You're asking ME to explain humans?

This is Guiness the Cat. I'm good at lots of things, but that's my forte.

This is Guiness the Cat. Felines make exceptional supervisors.
WordChazer wrote on April 17, 2015, 3:45 PM
Guiness, my furry friend, I know this to be the truth. You make better supervisors than humans sometimes, and I'm sure the only reason you let humans be supervisors is that we haven't learned to speak cat yet.

I'm not getting enough done! I must need a cat to motivate me

Dear Guinness, Bubblews is responsible for the cheap rubbish I am expected to eat at the moment too. I have not blogged much as Human 1 turned into a blob that coughed for a while and was not up to much. I am hoping seeing as she is better that she too will sort out this low quality food drive as I am ignoring it too and gettimg hungry, but I had to put my paws down. Love from Freya, the Catblog Cat.
OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on April 23, 2015, 12:28 AM
This is Guiness the Cat. Most humans do sorely need the supervision of a cat to ever get anything at all done.
OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on April 23, 2015, 12:37 AM
Dear Freya the Catblog Cat,
We did eat good while it lasted, didn't we? I have had to resort to answering cat litter surveys and clicking on paid-to-watch vet videos.
Come on over to my house for the emergency PCBA Squirrel BBQ for the preservation of my internet cable. The eating will be very good, I assure you, and there will be ample leftovers for everyone to take home. We'll even have enough to feed the dogs.
I hope your human is back to normal soon and she and my human manage to bring home more bacon. I like it very much.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

I wonder if the wetnoses get sick of their food like you do yours? But it is paid for, Guiness.

This is Guiness the Cat. I'm sure if you asked them they would say yes.
