NBA Fix For The Day

Always wrote about sports back in the day. Did a couple of sports-related posts early on here in Persona Paper but gave up on it to diversify my writing. I think I didn't do a good job. LOL!

Anyway, I hope to get back on track writing these sports post. It starts here...

Bunch of games happening around the NBA. Didn't make any bets but still watching these games for future reference. Should be a good play-off and finals season.

Battle of potential MVPs happened between James Harden's Houston Rockets and Russell Westbrook's Oklahoma City Thunder. Between, the two players, they scored 81 points but it was Harden's Rockets that got the win 115-112.

Fear.The.Beard.

Who's your NBA regular MVP?

Battle of play-off bound teams in the East. Chicago was at Cleveland. Two major stories from this game. LeBron James scored his first triple double since returning to the Cavs this season. He finished with 20 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. J.R. Smith scored all of his 24 points from the three point area. He did not attempt any two point field goals in the game. If I were J.R. Smith, I would only be jacking three's from this point forward. LOL!

Cleveland wins this one 99 - 94.

Another story from this game, Derrick Rose might be back playing for the Bulls this week. Rose has been out for Chicago since February 27 because of a knee surgery.

Perhaps, the biggest story today and how appropriate it is being Easter... Paul George of the Indiana Pacers came back from his horrendous leg injury to score 13 points on 5-12 shooting. to lead his Indiana Pacers over Miami Heat, 112-89. George who was out for eight months was welcomed warmly by the big home crowd that turned up for his return. Watching the standing ovation when he first checked in the game gave me goosebumps! Welcome back PG-13!!!

Are there any sporting events that gave you goosebumps? Tell me about it in the comments section.

Battle in the west between Golden State and San Antonio. San Antonio murdering Golden State so far 91-69 with nine minutes and change remaining in the game. While it is halftime in the New York-Philadelphia game. New York is up 54-51.

Other games on deck are Utah at Sacramento and the battle of Los Angeles between the Clippers and the Lakers.

That's the NBA roundup so far. You cheering for any NBA teams this year? Who you got to win it all?

Feel free to chime in.

I think James Harden will be named MVP. You left out Stephen Curry in the MVP talk. He'll be up there in the voting.

Not a big fan of college basketball. The game is too slow for me. I only get interested during March Madness. Who you rooting for between Duke and Wisconsin?

Agree that Steph Curry will be included inthe MVP talk. He really took over that Golden State team. I think this year will be really close when it comes to decide who the reguiar season MVP will be.

You are right that the MVP race is close. There is no clear cut choice since Durant is out of the picture and LeBron is having a so-so season. What may give Harden the edge over Curry is Harden has carried Houston on his back while Curry has Klay Thompson at his side.
