Any drawing from my children is considered an . Thus, here's my daughter's first from .

They were asked to make a drawing consisting of lines. was first confused as to what to draw. So I told her to divide the paper in six boxes so she could draw what ever she wants on each box.

With this technique, she won't have any problem trying to finish one whole big picture. So she drew stars, hearts, diagonal lines, swirls, zigzags and fishes.

You can see that she only colored in full the drawings in the middle. She got so sleepy to finish the whole thing so I said that she could just trace the lines with crayons so it will have some color, too.

How old is your daughter? It's beautiful work. You should frame it for her! I can't wait for my son to be old enough to do more than scribble or try to eat the paint. Lol.

That's really nice. I love it when my niece does drawings for me. She is so happy when I hang them on the refrigerator. You should put it on display somewhere in the house.

She's turning 8 this August. Thanks. I put most of her drawings in an clear folder. I plan to put it in our living room for house guests to see instead of just old magazines and photo albums. emoticon

I think I'll put up a little gallery to encourage her. Thanks!
