Eight Fears

Here is post 3 of the tenpostchallenge and I'll write about my eight fears. Not exactly the topic who want to make a post about but hey, you tackle the hardest things in life first and the rest should be easier. I'm going to do this challenge in two parts.

So, back to the task on hand, let's talk about my eight fears... truth be told, I.FEAR.NOTHING.

LOL!!!

Seriously though, I think I have a couple of fears here and there... so here is the list:

1) I hate crossing bridges... on foot...in a vehicle... on a bike. I guess its the fear that the bridge would collapse under me... not that I'm oveweight or anything but yeah, that was a fear when I was younger.

2) Everytime I cross a tunnel, I fear that it would collapse on top of me and trap me. So yeah, tunnels and bridges are causes of fear for me.

3) When I was younger, tall buildings freak me out... which is funny because I did a 'skywalk' and an 'edge coaster' in one of the hotels in Cebu (it is a province in Southern Philippines and it is called the Queen City of the South). The hotel is 40-storeys high and the skywalk is basically you getting in over-alls and getting harnessed and you walk above the glass floor panels of the hotel. The edge coaster on the other hand lets you ride a coaster placed in the outer rim of the edge of the hotel. The coaster is set at a 45 degree angle so the feeling of falling down is actually simulated. You can control the coaster and vary the degree of the 'tilt' of the coaster. Very scary stuff indeed!!!

4) With Holy Week just aroudn the corner, let me mention that those Holy Week rituals... people carrying the cross and walking around the while hitting their backs plus of course peopel who get themselves crucified in the cross... yup, those freak me out when I was a kid!!!
