Glitches Frustrate Me

I have noticed these past few articles that I have posted that there is some sort of "glitch."
Once I am done writing, which I check for errors, and then upload to the system, the published piece has several words that run together. There does not seem to be anything I can do about it.
I have not been around much the past few days to know if elitecodex or MaeLou have knowledge of it. Nor have I read enough to see if it has been reported, though I have noticed that it seems to be an issue with several of the articles I have also read lately. I cannot imagine certain writers making the spacing mistakes.
I recognize that perfection is boring but, seeing it in my articles unsettles me. I suppose this means there is a lesson in it for me.

Heheheh.. someone from the earlier post also give a heads up about the image wizard, I don't know if it was settled already. I guess we don't have that kind of problem in here in our country and hopefully we don't encounter it, maybe there is a slight error with the systems but I know it will be addressed very soon. God bless.

Spacing has recently become an issue for me, too. Words run together, but also any time I try to make an extra space to offset a paragraph or a list or something, it always goes back to just single-space. This is why on some of my pieces, you will see a line that just has -- in it; it's to separate things out a little better, visually.

The only issue I have seen with images, is that if I go to edit a day later, I lose the image and have to upload it all over again.

I have also noticed that some of the hash-tags do not hyperlink anymore.

I have not noticed anything yet if I watch what I am typing. But sometimes my spaces do not seem to be there until I go back and add them a second time.

I have noticed that problem too. If you go back into your article and put a double space there, it will fix it. That's what I have been doing.
CoralLevang wrote on March 27, 2015, 1:48 PM
But it doesn't show up as a problem in draft form. So I have to record them all before I do so? UGH.
SoundNFury wrote on March 27, 2015, 1:50 PM
Yeah, it's pretty annoying. I find that it is more prevalent if the original post had corrections done to it (before submitting.) I have tried different font sizes and nothing seems to make a difference, so I am forced to work around it. Sucks...

Any similar errors you see in my work are usually from when I am on my tablet, rather than on the PC. This silly thing also doesn't believe in paragraph spacing.
valmnz wrote on March 27, 2015, 1:53 PM
CoralLevang I have that problem too
CoralLevang wrote on March 27, 2015, 1:53 PM
I am also noticing that many of the # hashtags aren't taking; edits cause us to lose the images.
I hope elitecodex knows about these things.

This has nothing to do with what we are typing; it has to do with what the system is doing arbitrarily.
CoralLevang wrote on March 27, 2015, 2:20 PM
I don't think it's your computer/tablet. I believe it's a system issue.
Porcospino wrote on March 27, 2015, 2:33 PM
When I write directly in the text box many words run together, but when I write somewhere else and copy and paste my post into the text box it doesn't happen.
valmnz wrote on March 27, 2015, 2:47 PM
Don't know, maybe as it only occurs on this site, no other, and only when I'm on my tablet.
CoralLevang wrote on March 27, 2015, 2:52 PM
I suppose I should try that. Thanks for the idea.

You're not alone. It's really been bugging me, too, and I think it makes the site and us look less professional. I hope they will find a way to fix it, soon.
BarbRad wrote on March 27, 2015, 4:46 PM
I rarely write directly to the text box and it still happens to me.
Porcospino wrote on March 27, 2015, 5:00 PM
BarbRad I guess it doesn't work in every case. I just copied and pasted a new post and there were no problems at all.

I've been having the same problem for some time. Now, whenever I post an article, I'll re-read it right away (even though I've proofread it before posting it), and I've been going in to add extra spaces to fix the errors.
Hollyhocks100 wrote on March 28, 2015, 9:38 AM
I noticed that too. I had it happen to one of my posts, yet when I went to correct it, there was a space between the 2 words in edit mode, so nothing I could do to change anything.

MaeLou ? elitecodex ?

It appears after reading the thread, there are many experiencing this. What do you need from us that would be helpful to you in isolating this problem? Please let us know. We want to help!
MaeLou wrote on March 29, 2015, 5:55 PM
We're still trying to figure it out.

Thank you, MaeLou ; I appreciate your comment. I hope all is well in your world.
