Are You Sad? This Song May Cause You to Smile

Though I failed terribly at completing AliCanary 's 30-Day Music Challenge (this being 17 of 30, not in order), I still have a few that I will share.

There are many songs that I might choose, if I were sad, but there is one that I love to watch (on video) that lifts my spirits each and every time-- I Smile by Kirk Franklin .

The music has great harmonies and makes me want to dance, but the video features so many "regular" people that smile at me. It is hard not to smile back!

This song became important to me nearly two years ago, when I challenged myself to a 21-Day SMILE! Challenge, which I updated each day on my blog's SMILE! page.

I found myself very fearful at that time, but watched the video each day and found one thing to smile about every day. Perhaps, the results will give you a bit more insight into who I am , and inspire you to find something to smile about everyday, as well.

Keep smiling!

OMG...I love this!! Thank you for sharing it!
I especially loved when he was dancing in front of the Korean guard. LOL

Wow, that was amazing! I hope he didn't get hurt when that big-ass wave pasted him in Tonga. What a great video!

Well, I know he did survive that huge wave....because he made another video with a similar theme four years later. It's also pretty spectacular and Happy-Inducing, emoticon :winking:

emoticon  Every single time I've ever shared this video with anyone that has served in the military in South Korea, they always mention how much they enjoy that particular scene!

Here's that next one I just mentioned:

FYI, the songs on both of these are available on iTunes, and also (I think) on Amazon. I got both of them, because I've watched the videos so many times that just hearing the music is enough to make me happy.
