Reasons to Quit Smoking Now
Some of us may be guilty of smoking. While I am not a smoker, I do smoke sometimes especially when I'm out drinking with friends or if my work would cause too much stress. The most number of cigar that I can puff in a day would be three (and that's only if I'm out drinking with friends) .
I am aware of the bad effects of smoking to my health but sometimes, peer pressure is just too much for me to resist. This morning though, I have read online how smoking affects my skin- which I have been trying so hard to clear up these past months (I've had bad spells of break outs recently and I don't know really what caused it) . So here are several reason, especially for the ladies, to quit smoking.
✔ Smoking makes our skin dry and rough.
✔ Smoking prevents you from having a glowing and dewy face.
✔ Smoking causes dark and chapped lips.
✔ Smoking also causes dull and dry hair.
✔ Smoking also causes pimples and acne.
✔ Smoking causes wrinkles.
✔ Smoking causes dark circle around the eyes.
See what I mean? Now this really makes me think. From now on, I will try to avoid smoking. Maybe I will stop taking breaks with my colleagues because when they take their breaks, they always smoke.
So there. Let us try to avoid this vice and live a healthier and longer life. :)
