Beginning of Spring

After a relatively mild winter here in Minnesota, with about half the normal snowfall, Spring is here. Or, so we thought.
Today the Twin Cities area is under a Winter Weather Advisory. We are expecting several inches of snowfall later today. While I love snow and am actually looking forward to seeing the white stuff covering the ground, I'm not looking forward to the wet and muddy results of melting snow tomorrow.
This is a rather interesting start to Spring Break that has begun this week for my Grandchildren. They may even be able to get in a little sledding in the early evening.
I seem to be in a bit of a fog this morning. Life has been so busy for me lately. My newest Granddaughter is almost 8 weeks old and I find myself spending a lot of time with her. This has enabled my daughter to focus a bit more on my two-and-a-half-year-old Grandson. Living in a Mother-in-Law apartment in my Daughter's home gives me so much to enjoy - my five youngest Grandchildren. Life is good!

Winter often has a sting in its tail just when we thought we could start putting our winter woolies away!

Be careful if you need to go out. I hope we are done with snow here

I love the way you put that - I agree.

I'm lucky - I don't go out unless I want to. We could still get a dusting with an upcoming storm, but I believe that SHOULD be the last.

I'm fortunate that I have my own little apartment in my daughter and son-in-law's house, although my Grandkids come and go here as they please.

I enjoy most seasons -- though winter is my least favorite.

I know there are many people who agree with you. I've lived in Minnesota for going on 9 years now. One of the things I love about winters here is that the sun shines much of the time. When I lived in the Pacific Northwest most winters were dreary and rainy.
