A Day As A Caretaker

Some days things seem to run smooth and there is no problems at all , other days its like living in hell and nothing is good enough .
Today was an in between day , I had a lot to do this evening .
Tony did not want to eat what I wanted so I cooked two dinners , Mexican for him and fish for me .
Next was his hair cut , Since we have two funerals / visitation tomorrow I HAD to give him a cut and he shaved . Wait ! He did not like the first cut it was not short enough so I cut it again .
Every Saturday night I refill his medication box aka pill box for the week . I began doing this a few months ago when he began to forget if he had taken his medication , once he thinks he took it twice .
I have a mess to clean in the kitchen and its almost midnight .
Just another day as Angie

It is a very tiring task for you. I hope you have some rest inbetween caring for him.

What I've been wondering lately is what happens when us caregivers begin forgetting where we are at in the care process. In the last two years I have messed up pills maybe three times when routine was changed.
