Journal 03-20-2015 The Countdown has Begun

Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Friday March 20, 2015. The temperature is 61.4F and the humidity is 86% at 3:23 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 1.6 mph. The sky was overcast when I stuck my head out. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 82 today.
The ten-day forecast is still saying a high of 78 and clear for the day of the wedding. It should be about 74 at noon for the wedding. Or so says Weather Underground. It that’s the case, it will be nice. And the reception will be nice. I’m relieved.
So. The festivities for the wedding start today. The best man is coming down for lunch then the maid of honor should be here about 2:30. We’ll meet with the lady who will conduct the ceremony at the park for the rehearsal about 3, walk around and pick a favorite and a fallback spot. The permit gives us access to the park, but does not guarantee any particular spot.
We may or may not go out for coffee after that depending on everyone’s plans. The next big thing is dinner at my sister’s. The whole clan is there: my mother, my two sisters, my brother, their spouses, their kids. That’s never happened before. I’m so glad we’re all together. One of my nieces has just graduated college. Two more are about to. Two nephews are in college. One niece, the youngest, is still home.
We packed a plastic tote we usually take camping full of the stuff we’ll need: sand ceremony set, cake topper, envelope with the marriage license, permit to be in the park, etc. It’s in the car where it can’t get lost.
After dinner, my brother and an old friend are taking Mr. Siduri out for drinks. I’m going down to the maid of honor’s house to stay the night. In the morning, I’m getting my hair done (no small feat. It does not curl. It does not behave). Then we go to the park and I leave a married woman.
God, is that scary. I just want the wedding to go well.
I am extremely stressed out and woke up about 2:30. Well, in about 30 some hours it will all be over with.
Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy. Hope the day brings you good things.
Writing schedule:
1. Give up trying to accomplish anything much till after the wedding
2. Continue Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil .

Thank you. Once it's over, I'm sure it will be a happy day. It's just the roughly 28 (OHMYGOD! ONLY28HOURSTOGO!) between then and now that I have to worry about.

Oh, no. The wedding day is tomorrow. And rest assured, I will not be posting then. I'm not completely insane.

Thank you. It's such a nice morning right now. I think I make myself some tea, do a little bit of housework, and relax.
