Mildred the Cat tells Guiness the Cat not to worry

Howdy everybody. How ya all doin’? I’m just dandy and I hope you are as well.

I thought I better post something quick. My dearest male friend and love interest, Guiness the Cat ( OldRoadsOnceTraveled ), contacted me out of worry and concern that I haven’t been writing lately. Dear Guiness also expressed concern that I had hooked up with that black cat I saw next door a few weeks ago and that I might be cheating on him.

I quickly replied to Guiness, to ease his concern, that absolutely nothing is going on between me and that neighbor cat. In fact, I haven’t seen the cat since that first sighting. I’m now wondering if perhaps I had a bit too much catnip that day and just thought I saw a black cat. Guiness has no need to ever worry about my faithfulness, whether that cat exists or not.

I must admit that both my mom and I haven’t been writing that much lately. My mom has been quite busy with all kinds of things. I’m busy too and also, as I mentioned to Guiness, I have increased my nap-taking and am indisposed much of the time – the more the napping the less the writing!

Anyhoo, I hope all my feline and canine friends out there are doing well, have a safe environment and lots of toys and treats.

Till next time,

Purrs, paws and high fives

Glad to hear that you and your mom are doing good and just busy.

Sorry to hear that you are indisposed part of the time. Clarice the cat is sorry to report that her uncle's kitty died the other night unexpectedly. He was quite old but hadn't been ill and his little mistress had to learn that he has gone to the rainbow bridge emoticon

So sorry to hear about Clarice's uncle's poor little kitty going to the rainbow bridge. Very sad. I hope Clarice the Cat isn't too sad. I'm sending some extra purrs and high fives her way.

It's good that you are doing well and are just distracted by all that napping.

Oh, my dearest Mildred,

I am so relieved that you haven't been chasing after some new black cat. Maybe you should cut back on the nip. I'm a little concerned you may be overdoing it if you're not sure whether or not the cat is real. And as much as I hope you are dreaming of me during all those cat naps, napping isn't going to buy food to fill the cat dish, you know. Besides, I miss you.

Sincerely, your Sweet Punkin, Such-a-Cute-Kitty, Guiness the Cat

Aww what a sweet affirmation to Guiness the Cat! Sure, napping takes priority over writing!

That is so sweet to know. Jay-R will just make a face when he read this post of yours, I think he never fell inloved with anyone yet... hahahahah. God bless and have a great day. It is good to see you here mildred. hope to see you more often.

Be sure to tell Jay-R that it is possible to find love online. Guiness and I met online through Bubblews and are continuing our relationship on Persona. It could happen to Jay-R too! Sending purrs and high fives to Jay-R from Mildred the Cat.

Dearest Guiness - My mom doesn't give me too much catnip as she basically runs a drug-free home but I maybe could have had a bit too much that day. Maybe the cat was real. As soon as the weather warms up and I can go on the indoor front porch all the time, maybe I'll see the cat again If so, you'll be the first to know! Love, your faithful, loyal, amorous Mildred the Cat.

If you didn't see that cat on Friday the 13th, maybe he was just an illusion!

I'm beginning to wonder since I haven't seen the cat in two weeks now. Of course, I'm not always at the window checking out the neighborhood so I could have missed him (or her).
