My Fun way of Cooking Rice

I am not here to give you tips or other recipe for rice, I am just here to tell you about the rice that I usually cook. Sometimes it is yummy, sometimes it is toasted, and sometimes my mom will say that it is not a rice it is a porridge! Lol! I don’t used rice cooker, but believe me cooking rice is one of my yummies recipe – as in super TRUE!
Cause of the problem: Sometimes I forgot to check it so it was toasted, or my mom will bought a new type of rice that has a different need of water. There are rice that needs a lot of water than the normal one.
My way of cooking it: I cook it for 30 minutes. But sometimes at the first boil of water I will off the gas, and wait 10 minutes before I open the fire again in a medium heat for 5 minutes and another 5 minutes in a super low heat, and it believe me it is superbs!
God bless everyone.

Sometimes I use my rice cooker, but most of the time I do it in a pot on the stove. I never measure the rice or the water. I learned a trick when I lived in Guam about how much water to us. I should share it in an article, once I figure out how to take a picture of me doing it. Hard to explain in words.

Even though rice is a common food in most households, it can sometimes be tricky to cook. I like long grain basmati rice and hate it when rice becomes soft and sticky

It is always fun to read how other people can cook rice. I perfected stove top cooking of white rice, but I finally had to resort to my slow cooker to do brown rice to get it to cook right every time.
