I Met Shawn Michaels For The Third Time!

What, did you guys think I wouldn't update about this lol?

I met my favorite WWE Superstar -and celebrity in general- for the third time yesterday. My sister and brother-in-law drove an hour away from home, from MD to VA, so that I could meet him again. Believe me when I tell you that I appreciate it. :D

I acquired my wristband shortly after getting there, and then walked around the store and mall for a bit; getting back in line at 11:30am. I had a good spot in line, but Shawn wasn't due there until 1pm. So I used the free WiFi to just surf the 'net on my tablet for a while.

They started officially lining us up around 12:40pm-12:45pm. I think Shawn may have started signing a few minutes early. I started getting nervous but I knew that would happen haha.

So I gave the staff my camera and my copy of Wrestling For My Life (Shawn's book). Shawn and I greeted each other and I handed him the book, telling him I made it for him because he has been my favorite for 19 years. He thanked me and then told me to come over to him (we were gonna take the photo in another minute). So mind you, I never mentioned him tweeting me in the past, nor did he look through the scrapbook at the time to see the pics (it was put on the side for later), so keep that in mind for this part....

Me (regarding telling him he's my hero): This is the third time I'm meeting you and the first time I'm telling you this....

Shawn: No, I remember, you're one of the few people that got a picture with the big beard. (He had his beard grown out more back in 2013).

Yes. My favorite of almost two decades knew who I was; recognized me; and that is something that will always mean the world to me. :')

We went to snap the photo and when I was putting my hand on his chair, I knocked into his cowboy hat lol. I told him I was sorry, but he told me it was okay and blamed it on his "big old head." Awwe. :)

Shawn is an amazing man though. He is such a gentleman and if you ever have the opportunity to go meet him, please take it. I know I would do it all over again if I could! :)

I'll post a photo of the scrapbook another time; I wanted to share the photo of Shawn and I first.

I am getting a late start on blogging and my laptop is needs to cool down soon, so this may be my only post of the night. I'll try to get back on track tomorrow. Until then, you all take care! :)
