47.76 to Go

I am happy to say I was able to do the treadmill again tonight. I am so glad I have got back able to walk almost every day again. I missed it when I wasn't well enough to do the walks. I did 1.4 miles tonight. Still not enough to catch up to the miles I missed to make the goal but every little bit counts. I do want to get as far as I can before the end of the month. Maybe I will be able to make the 75 miles. We shall see I guess.

I hope the rest of y'all got your exercise in today as well. Our hearts will thank us. Well, our whole body will actually. Good luck to the rest who are doing the challenge. You can do it! I have faith in all of you.

With the awesome weather this weekend, at least Guiness the Cat and I got to spend some time outside. I didn't get much walking in as I don't allow him up the driveway, but we did walk around the yard as far as the edge of the woods to take some pictures. It will be nice having a photographic record of what blue skies look like, especially if it rains every day next week. Again.

I was hoping to walk 50 miles on the treadmill in January. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle so all I've done is walk back and forth in the house on crutches. I thought that wasn't exercise, but my stomach started hurting and I realized I was doing the equivalent of ab crunches every day by using the crutches.

It is adding up again. I just hope this week goes ok. With the rain, I never know.
