Rain, Rain, Go Away, by Guiness the Cat

Hello, it is me, the waterlogged Guiness the Cat, and I am seriously considering packing up my treats and heading to New Zealand to hang out with my friends Morpheus the Cat and Sylf the Feline Spy. Morph says it is 83 degrees, and he's hanging out in the shade. I'm ready for some sun!
It's been so cold and gloomy and drizzly and dreary for so long, I can't remember how many days it's been since I had a nice long, pleasant Outside. Then two days ago, it suddenly turned summer. For one glorious day, it was actually almost hot even. Every once in awhile, the sun would peak out from behind the clouds for a few minutes. I got to go Outside and roll my fuzzy self around in the crunched up leaf mulch and get trash everywhere. It was so wonderful.
But then, just as quickly as summer came, it went away again. The clouds and gloom and dreary drizzle returned. Temperatures plummeted and puddles froze, and it just wasn't fun at all.
Debbi read on Facebook this morning that apparently we slept through a nice snow shower this morning. She hates we missed it. Personally, I'd rather have the sleep.
The sun came out, but it stayed cold. Too cold to go roll around on frozen leaf trash, even, so I just came back inside.
Isn't March supposed to be spring?
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

Poor Guiness, Bunny here. I feel your pain we also got one nice day that I enjoyed running in the snow. Then it turned cold here also. My Mommy says it is supposed to be a lot nicer next week. I sure hope so for you and me both.

I think you have your months mixed up Guiness, spring is maybe May around here - the Fluff

The Fuzzy Trio say that you shall see spring before they do. They don't venture to Outside, but they do have many conversations with those who venture past our little place. They know that more of their bird friends will return when warmer days do.

Lol! with the letter. But I am so happy to see you on those photos, at least you already had another opportuity to see the sun and play even for a little while outside your house. God bless.

Guiness, people were running around in their shorts in the park here at 6 PM playing sports on the grass. It was sunny and dry without a cloud in the sky. It will be warm tomorrow, too, and it feels like spring. You could come here. It's a lot closer than New Zealand, and you could play with Sarah and Garfield.

Interested to read about Morpheus the Cat here in new Zealand. I hadn't realised there were other NZ writers on this site. Please tell me more? Anyway, temps dropped here in NZ today and autumn has arrived.

This is Guiness the Cat. The only running in the snow I do is straight back to the door! I'm ready for spring.

This is Guiness the Cat. In Georgia, spring usually does a preview in February. Then just as things start to bloom, we get hit by crocus winter.

This is Guiness the Cat. I do enjoy hanging out with the birds, but I really wouldn't want to live there. I like my nice comfy coffee table too much.

This is Guiness the Cat. The ground was still quite damp Wednesday, but at least I didn't get my rear end frozen sitting on it.

Dear Barb,
Debbi says people were running around in shorts here the other day, and they weren't playing sports. What's the point of shorts with a winter coat? Humans are weird.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

This is Guiness the Cat. Morpheus the Cat and his feline spy sister Sylf haven't started writing on Persona Paper yet, but I wish they would. They share an account on Bubblews with their human, Bobbydem.

This is Guiness the Cat. No "far" is too far for sunshine! Be there soon.

Guiness, they are looking forward to the day when they again have a coffee table. They say that this scaled down space is lacking... in space. I can't say that I disagree with them.

Sorry to rub your nose in it, Your Furriness, but here in the UK we have just had a lovely warm, sunny, bright and dry day. Spring not so much sprung but jumped up and down shouting 'I'm here, I'm here!' scattering happiness and frogspawn everywhere.

This is Guiness the Cat. Ooo. Maybe I'll stop in on my way back from Spain.

Hi Guiness. It's Milded the Cat. You are lucky. No summer or spring around here. It was sunny today but cold temps. We still have over 2 feet of snow outside and lots of ice on the walks and driveways. I'm prefurring to check the outside from the inside where it's nice and warm.

Dear Mildred the Cat,
You mean the snow was over your head??? Oh, how horrible! I'd be staying inside, too.
Sincerely, Guiness the Soggy
