Free Legal Advice (in the USA)

Don't know what it is like in other countries but in America, it seems everybody is “sue happy”. That being said, there may come a time when legal advice is desperately needed and it's not because you're being sued or because you intend to sue somebody. Let's just say that time has come and you could sure benefit from legal counsel. But can you afford it?? Who can't afford FREE?

There is a website that offers free legal advice, based in Seattle, Washington. At the moment, their services are not required by me. But it's good to know where to find them!

Post a question and get free answers from experienced lawyers .

( Not a paid advertisement. Found the site. Thought it might be useful. Just sharing.)

I am quite familiar with Avvo. Let me just say this: It is also a site to develop business/brand attorneys. It is always the consumer's responsibility to check out what/whom they are buying/hiring.

There is actually quite a wealth of legal advice available online. I think attorneys know that advice itself doesn't need to be kept secret--the way they make THEIR money is by advocating on our behalf...kind of like paying somebody to get in a fight for you emoticon :winking:

Interesting. Sometimes, we need this free service to deal with some minors.
