A Song that Reminds Me of an Event -- Tupperware Jubilee

After I left the military and I arrived in Guam, I became involved with Tupperware and had a successful business. I seem to have a natural ability to build relationship to people, and have always understood that how one asks a question often determines how one might answer.
As a salesperson this served me quite well, and I began to see my qualities and personality from a different perspective. In fact, I saw that other people also celebrated these characteristics. Sales conventions, where those successes were honored and where there were others from whom to learn, were like a big party. The big one during the year was called "Jubilee."
Though I did not particular care for all the "hoopla" that went on with the "show" aspect, it seemed to get many people more motivated. The music helped with that energy.
One song that I still occasionally hear today is Hot Hot Hot by Buster Poindexter. It will forever remind me of those days in Tupperware. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhZba-P7R18

Ha ha! I can imagine that song being played at a sales convention where they are trying to whip everyone up into a frenzy! I had similar experiences with Avon.

AliCanary I had a weird dream about you last night. SERIOUSLY. Were you in the Marines?

HOO-ah! My dad was a Captain in the Army, and I have a brown belt in karate. Those are my only martial connections. What was the dream about?
