I Did It! 10,000 Coins Today

Well, first of all, I would like to thank everyone who helped me get here. Without your page views and your cool articles for me to comment on, I wouldn't have been able to make it to 10 coins, let alone 10,000. Also, I realize that I can't even cash out yet, so it's not like I'm gonna be spending up a storm any time soon.

But, man, considering how hard it was to make the first thousand coins, I'm pretty happy that I've made it to 10,000. As I promised in my previous post, now that I've achieved this milestone, I will not be posting for 11K and 12K and so on, although I am likely to post when I cash out, or maybe even when I can cash out, whether I do yet or not.

Because I haven't gone into specifics for a while, and because it seems like an appropriate time to do so, I will recount the statistics of each leg of the journey, for those of you who are interested in finding out the nuts and bolts of what worked:

1,000 coins - 35 days, 38 posts http://www.personapaper.com/article/7857-hey-i-made-my-first-dollar-on-persona-paper

2,000 coins - 10 days, 9 posts http://www.personapaper.com/article/8894-ive-made-my-second-thousand-on-persona-paper---growing-my-snowball

3,000 coins - 25 days, 25 posts http://www.personapaper.com/article/10795-the-third-thousand-coins-was-harder-but-i-believe

4,000 coins - 42 days, 11 posts http://personapaper.com/article/12693-steady-up-that-hill--made-it-to-4k

5,000 coins - 24 days, 15 posts http://personapaper.com/article/13916-it-happened-today--my-first-5k

6,000 coins - 34 days, 17 posts http://personapaper.com/article/15587-another-thousand-coins-earned

7,000 coins - 38 days, 20 posts http://personapaper.com/article/19062-the-7000-coin-mark---a-little-late-with-the-update

8,000 coins - 28 days, 22 posts http://personapaper.com/article/22842-hooray-i-reached-8000-coins-today

9,000 coins - 16 days, 23 posts http://personapaper.com/article/24384-another-milestone---9k-1000-coins-in-half-the-time

Whew, that was a lot of work to put all those links! I'm gonna have to take a nap. But before I do, chances are pretty good that since you clicked on this article, you'll want to know that one last critical piece of information--how many days and posts did it take to get me from 9,000 coins to 10,000? The answer--drumroll, please! --only 13 days, during which time I was ridiculously productive and churned out 28 articles.

So there you have it, folks. Once again, thanks for helping me get there, and I hope you stick around to help me some more!

That's a major achievement, AliCanary !! Congratulations!

Since I'm still plugging away at The Site That Shan't Be Named in a (vain?) effort to get my last $50 there, I have not been as active here as I need to be. That's why I still have not reached the 1K coin mark yet.

That's an impressive achievement! Congratulations and keep on doing a great job on Persona Paper!

It's not for me.... too much effort for little reward. I've been spending my time cleaning up a couple of old/abandoned websites I thought seemed a good idea about 5-6 years ago.

Good for you! i'm exhausted just looking at 10,000.

Congratulations on 10,000. We all have to stick around because now we have a goal. We'll follow your breakdown to the letter.

congrats, looks like you need to write at least 1.5 post per day.

FreyaYuki wrote on March 4, 2015, 1:55 PM

Congrats on your achievement emoticon  And it's nice that you kept track of all the statistics. I don't even remember when I reached $5. Am currently only at 25%. Good luck with being able to cash out soon.

My God, you have accomplished the impossible. I know you put the figures up but I still can't believe you did it. The lesson to be learned is if you can do it, we can also.

I wasn't in a huge rush to achieve it, lol--maybe that's the secret!

AliCanary wrote on March 5, 2015, 6:42 PM

Everyone's results will vary, though--kinda depends on how many comments you make, as well!

AliCanary wrote on March 5, 2015, 6:42 PM

That would be a good average, but I'd love to do more.

AliCanary wrote on March 5, 2015, 7:26 PM

This is also a post I have visited from you One Year celebratory post. Your journey to 10,000 coins is quite inspiring...especially to people who complain that their banks show no movement.

AliCanary wrote on June 11, 2015, 5:17 PM

What I thought was kind of interesting was looking at the URLs for the posts all lined up like that and noting the article numbers of each. The first post was made in the 7000s, and by the time I did this one, it was post number 25,856! So many contributions to the site, representing so much work and care by the members. It must be very heartenning for the admins to see how hard we have worked to help the site succeed.
