I Had To Take a Power Nap

Hey there, everyone. I got up shortly after my alarm went off, but I just couldn’t seem to wake up. I eventually did and went on to help with my portion of the babysitting. Ooh boy. I love those kids but they wear me out sometimes. Then again, it doesn’t help that I was already tired lol.
I had to take care of something offline, and then I finally started on my work. All the kids were picked up by 5pm, and then I wound up taking a power nap on the couch. It wasn’t planned, but I was just so tired. Who wants to work on writing assignments while fighting sleep? It wasn’t a long nap, and I didn’t realize I was asleep until I was being called for dinner.
I ate dinner, put on The Brady Bunch season one and here I am, trying to get my last bit of work done. I am so behind today. I need to get back on track so that I can finish my work at a decent time. I guess better luck tomorrow?
I am going to get back to my work. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day. Take care.
P.S. - I may be slow with getting back to people, so please bear with me. Thanks.

Everyone of us needs at least 8 hours a day of sleep but because of busy schedule, we cannot avhieve that. A power nap can help us to be more energetic.

try to take a rest, a nap or take a whole day rest, don't tire yourself out

There´s no point in trying to carry on when all you need is a nap. Nothing comes out right until you take one.

True, but sometimes my naps make me feel more tired, so I try to skip them. I really needed it though.

Thanks. I babysit for loved ones, and freelance write for my private client, all Mon. - Fri., so I cannot always just take the whole day to rest. The weekends are MINE though, so I can be as lazy as I want. :)

True that. I don't like to do that, because sometimes it makes me more tired, but then there are times where I just need 20-30 minutes with my eyes closed and my mind turned off.

Enjoy yourself, have power bath and a power breakfast but try to avoid power failure.
