Site Statistics: latest update - thank you, thank you, thank you!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU indeed! A big thank you to every one of our members for making Persona Paper a roaring success! There can now be little doubt that Persona Paper has established itself as a successful site for those writers, bloggers and photographers who care about giving value and doing things properly.
We now have members from many countries and many nationalities and we welcome every one of them and all those others out there who will surely follow in their footsteps.
This update details how far Persona Paper has come since the New Year bells rang in 2015. In just two months we have increased our active membership from 1000 on New Years Day to 1338 as I write this (March 3) - an increase of fully one-third!
Many new members began flocking to Persona Paper just before New Year and for a while it seemed like they would just keep on coming. I like to refer to this phenomenon as the 'Bubblews Bounce' and its effect was immediate and obvious. The number of daily posts shot up - and stayed up. The average posting rate is now about 140 posts per day and it shows no signs of stopping any time soon.
Although this increase is certainly very welcome we could still do better. 140 posts per day divided amongst 1338 members works out at one-tenth of a post per active member per day and I'm sure we could do better than that! As always, we could also do more to spread the word about Persona Paper and its friendly, open and informative culture of interactive writers.
Remember, the more active we are the more visible the site will be and that will attract more members and that will, hopefully, lead to an increase in pay rates - which will attract more members which will lead to an increase in pay rates which will attract more . . . well, I'm sure you get the idea. With a little bit more effort we can all enjoy a bigger share of a much bigger pie!
OK - enough talk, let's SEE the figures. This graphic shows the number of active members the site currently has (1338). You can see the effect of the 'Bubblews Bounce' which happened just before New Year and led to the site welcoming its 1000th member on New Year Day. The rate at which new members are joining the site has slackened off somewhat and returned to its 'pre-bounce' levels but we are still attracting new members.

This is the posting rate. Again, the 'Bubblews Bounce' at New Year is obvious. Note that the posting rate has almost trebled and that we will very soon pass 26,000 posts published!

This is very encouraging and I can see only one way for Persona Paper to go - UP, UP AND AWAY to join the elite of the blogosphere!

Kasman This is good news to hear. I always believed in Persona Paper. I know I haven't been too active lately. I know I also keep saying that. But in addition to Bubblews, there are other sites that I use to earn online as well. So, I do need to dedicate some time to them. I sometimes get sidetracked and forget all about coming here. Then there are the days that I come here before all the other sites. I think it will take more time to increase things here. But better being slow going than too fast and have problems.

It seems that many of us came over from Bubblews, but quite a lot are no longer active, and some have gone back. It does seem that PP is picking up again this week though.
