Sorry I wasn't around all weekend!

Hi gang

I hope we are all well.

Sorry I haven't been here all weekend - have I missed much? I tend to do my surfing when I am home alone, hence my absence from you all.

I only found out really recently that future hubby cannot stand the sound of nails tap tapping away on a keyboard so that pretty much means I can't do any online work when he is here. Or I can, but it drives him crazy!

I am looking forward to catching up with all of my new friends here now today and I am sure I really have my work cut out for me as I have 2 days worth of posts from you all to read!

I'd better get the kettle on and make myself a big pot of coffee to go with it all.

*rolls up sleeves*

It's a good thing I have only one decently long nail then... To be honest, typing keeps mine short. It's also a good thing that my husband is also a geek with a keyboard forever at the end of his fingers, as I'd never be able to do anything here otherwise.

This might help. Try latex hospital gloves and see if that does the trick. You might be able to lessen the noise of finger tapping by using a rubberized keyboard pad cover. The cover I am talking about is designed to protect the keys from water exposure but also to keep the characters on the keys from wearing off. I need a new keyboard just because I can't read half the keys. Also if you have a monitor that is touch screen and you are running windows 8.1 would that stop the tapping? Like an ipad or Kindle Fire ?
