Please share your best ideas for a Wedding Gift

Even though I enjoy gift giving , I confess, I'm not the best at picking out gifts. If the couple has a wedding that helps, but not every couple does. Sometimes, I just give money. It doesn't feel too thoughtful to me, but then again, every married couple needs cash.

Still, I like to give at least a small gift even if I give money. It often seems that the gifts favor the bride. That's okay during the shower, but I mean at the wedding itself. What is something that both bride and groom could enjoy? Is it proper to give a nice bottle of ? I'm not sure. I also don't always know what kind of wine they like.

My "go to" gift used to be a nice set of wine , but not everyone drinks wine either. Such a dilemma!

So, I thought I'd see if anyone here has some clever ideas for nice wedding gifts.

A clock. Everybody counts their anniversaries. :)

A nice set of crystal wine glasses sound like a perfect gift, even if they don't specifically drink wine, they can use them for other beverages.

I love wine glasses, Soonerdad. I just wasn't sure if others like them as much as I do.

Oh, a clock is a nice idea too. Those anniversary clocks are so pretty.

It depends on your budget. There are a lot of good gifts to give like a set of pillows or a comforter may do.
