Let's Celebrate!

Some may think me silly to celebrate reaching a 5000 coin milestone, especially since there is still a long way to go before a $20 cash redemption ($12.50 to go). But I am compelled to celebrate the little victories in life.

Three years ago, I finally learned that yearly celebrations are not something that are guaranteed to us, and that we must learn to celebrate each day, each moment of what we are given in this life. It is one of life's lessons that I wish I would have taken to heart much earlier than I did.

Now is the time to celebrate. Find something to celebrate each and every day. Sing, dance, and make it a party! ( Click here for some dance music!! )

Even when some will think you are silly.

nbaquero xo thanks! And, are YOU the one who made sure the captcha I got for this one was "stop wasting time"?? *laughs* (SERIOUSLY. LOL)
Can you tell I don't want to go to this potluck dinner?

Yep, I totally agree. Life should be celebrated, not just lived for survival! I'm happy to be right at at amount today as well!

I'm with you there emoticon  and well done, worthy of a celebration. As you say, there may not be time to wait for the big things. Today I'm celebrating being brave enough to let go of my little car and the independence that has gone with it.

My wife and I have both recently come to realise that we cannot guarantee seeing our next birthday! So we celebrate when we can - but not with 'Kool and the Gang'! We tend to have nice meal somewhere and maybe a walk in the countryside or a weekend in a decent hotel. Like you, we wish we had realised this earlier.

CoralLevang Great going. I am nowhere there yet. I have never, ever reached cachet here yet. But I know I will one day. I know some people from other sites that think being here is a waste of time. I don't think so. I have some good friends here and some of these people came from the B site and some are still there as well. So I feel being here is a plus for me. I know I am not as active as I should be, but time is short sometimes. So I get here when I can. That is cause for celebration. Congrats on 5000 coins.

That is enough reason to celebrate. Whatever small things we believe that we achieve through hard work is enough reason to celebrate. I also love reading post which talks about progress report. I am only $3 and its too far to hit the redemption.

I'm celebrating that I didn't have to go anywhere today. I'll make up for it tomorrow, though, since I have two appointments.
