Queen Kitty Report: Strange Human Behavior

I have spent years studying human behavior. I still do not fully understand much of it.

For instance, why is it that humans say that they want to accomplish a certain but behave in a way that contradicts that goal? That is what Mommy does. She says that she wants to polish some stories she's been working on and release them as e-books. However, has she been diligently working on that? No.

Another strange thing I have noticed is how the humans choose a northern climate... and, then, whine about winter. Oh, Mommy has been okay in the past about it for the most part. However, some things have resulted in her being one whiny human this winter. Really, if humans don't want to deal with negative wind chills, why not choose a place that doesn't have them?

And why is it that humans insist upon changing channels when we kitties are watching something? Really, I was watching that episode of Sesame Street this morning and switching channels in the middle of it just because Mommy was bored of hearing it was not okay. And, no, switching to a bird documentary does not fully make up for it.

Humans. Such strange creatures. Still, they do have their purposes. Providing yogurt would, of course, be one of them.

Meowfully,

Queen Kitty

Hello Queen Kitty. We have Princess Puppy here. I know humans confuse the daylights out of you two, but humans are just plain weird!

Bunny here, my humans complain about the cold a lot also. My mommy also never seems to be happy with how the house looks and keeps moving the furniture around.

Providing cheese would be another, emoticon :winking: And don't forget the milk, too!

Dear Queen Kitty,

Why don't you (as tactfully as possible) suggest to the human that if she would finish her ebooks and sell a bunch of them, she could afford (after buying yogurt, of course) to buy her own TV and then she could watch all the silly human shows she wanted to? (Humans rarely think these things through, and need a little help thinking logically.)

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

Yes, we are indeed a strange species but maybe not as strange as that species which insists of licking its own fur and then bringing it up in the form of a furball - now that is a strange species!

Hahaha, okay Queen Kitty, I can tell you this about polishing the stories, it can be scary, and hard work and the doubt of whether it is good and that is enough to keep one from starting..Does that makes sense? LOL

Queen Kitty - It's Mildred the Cat. I know exactly what you mean about odd human behavior and what our moms do. My mom has chosen a northern climate to live in and has been crabbing for months about all the snow storms we've been having!

Yes, that does often appear the case. -Queen Kitty

Bunny, there is no cat room here so we kitties are not exactly pleased with the current housing situation. Plus, the humans chose something with less than 300 square feet. They say that this will allow them to save up for a house. However, I don't understand why it is taking so very long. -Queen Kitty

Oh, we kitties don't drink milk. The humans say that it would cause us tummy trouble. We do, however, get bits of cheese and Big Brother and I have a taste of yogurt each morning. -Queen Kitty

Guiness, I try to encourage her but she is easily distracted. Plus, all book sales must go toward buying a house. It will be a while before the humans have a spot for their own television... -Queen Kitty

No. Grooming and regurgitating furballs makes sense. What really doesn't make sense is immersing oneself in water. Do you know how dangerous that is? -Queen Kitty

She's done it before, but those were what she calls "fluffy pieces." They were just collections of earlier writings. She wants to put out some of her novellas, but she keeps dragging her feet. Really, does this kitty have to do all of the work around here? -Queen Kitty

Mildred, glad that there is another kitty on here who can relate. Really, Mommy doesn't like southern climates and says that she is a "Northerner." Then, she complains every time it is cold enough to cause frostbite in 15 minutes or less. Does that make any sense?

Of course, it is getting warmer now. Maybe, the temperatures are finally getting to a point where she will stop whining about things freezing up. -Queen Kitty

Dear Queen Kitty,

I'm afraid you're just going to have to do whatever you can do to help your human resign herself that until she sells enough books to get rich, she's just going to have to get used to watching what you want to watch. After all, it's YOUR TV, not hers.

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

Us dogs do not have a room either but I dont mind too much. Thankfully Mommy and Daddy already had a good sized house and 4 acres when I moved in with them. Maybe they can get you someplace bigger soon.

Well, Queen Kitty, you could encourage your human by letting her know that you are behind her 100%..And maybe she'll let you put a few words in too. emoticon :winking:

My feline friend was also a little lactose intolerant, but he did fine whenever I gave him one or two drops of milk, which he adored. During the time he was with me, I never ate cold cereal all by myself, emoticon

For some reason, she will trust my brother with the remote at times but not me. Does she really think I'd leave it on DINOSAUR TRAIN or something? Well... -Queen Kitty
