Goal Achieved - 200 Posts by the End of the Month!
My friend valmnz mentioned a couple of weeks ago that she had set a goal for herself of reaching her 100th post by the end of February. I had already passed 100 a while back, but I noticed that I was in the 180s, myself, and reaching the nice, round number of 200 by the end of the month seemed like a good goal to shoot for.
I knew it was going to require a daily contribution, though, so I thought it would be a good time to get going with the 30DaySongChallenge as inspiration for a daily post. It's been a good writing prompt for other people, as well--just click on the tag, and you will see work by half a dozen Persona Paper writers. Reading the song posts is a great way to get to know more about your friends here on PP, and you might find some great new music that way, too!
The Song Challenge kept me logging in each day, and I also managed to contribute another article here and another there, including my latest in the monthly holidays and observances series, http://personapaper.com/article/25297-your-march-birthday-holidays-traditions-and-more . So without further ado, I am pleased to announce that this is my 200th post, and hey, it's not even the last day of the month, yet.
So, did valmnz reach her goal of 100 posts? Go to her profile to see!

It is easier to do a thing if we have a plan ,but you just decided on the last minute,in a spontaneous way, which makes it better that you succeeded. Congrats...

AliCanary good job! No lieutenant hero this time. You are the hero of the month! Congratulations!!!

That's nice. I never really set challenges I'd not want to write 200 as a challenge here as the reward is so low - and any followers wouldn't have a chance of reading them all and I know, personally, I feel sad when somebody I am following is writing too much for me to keep up.
But if it's moved you forward or given you a feel good factor then that's fine. We're all here for different reasons.

Congrats! It is amazing how fast those numbers can sneak up. I'm doing well so far in my next 100 post challenge. I just hope I can keep the ideas flowing LOL!

Congratulations for reaching your goal! Lately I've been lucky to at least read and comment on some of the articles here - one of these days...

Hey Lady, congratulations! Your determination and idea for a new 30-day challenge got you to where you aimed to be. : )

Congratulations on making it to 200. I just try to put up 4 or 5 posts a day and read and comment as much as I can.

Congratulations on meeting that goal! A lot of hard work and time went into that successful pursuit!

Thanks for the mention AliCanary you obviously know the answer to your question, so I won't spoil the suspense. And, well done to you, I have a challenge going with JeanC to reach 200 by the end of March. I'm, going to have to pick up my speed

JeanC I'm sure we'll keep each other motivated on this one!

Good to hear. What is your next goal? I hope you will reach the first 1000th post soon.

Wow, you are great. I hope I can write so many articles as soon as possible, and I hope I can more and more here.

That was awesome! I have not reached my 100 in a month. I am only close to 50 I guess. I wish I can reach 100 before the end of March.

I am no where near those kinds of numbers here but I am setting goals for myself on all my sites in March. I will work on those and share them later. I have failed with much of my writing this year and I am changing this week.

Thank you! It helped that I wasn't that far from achieving it.

Oh, to be clear, it wasn't 200 in one month, it was simply to GET to 200 by the end of the month. Although it's certainly possible to write that many in a month, I'm not likely to be that productive (especially since I just now reached 200 posts...and I've been here since last June!!!)
AliCanary wrote on February 28, 2015, 12:14 PM
I know you can do it! If you get stuck, go through your family photos and tell a story about one; that always works for me.
AliCanary wrote on February 28, 2015, 12:16 PM
Thank you! Just do whatever you can; it's good to see you!1
AliCanary wrote on February 28, 2015, 12:33 PM
Thanks! It wasn't my original idea, though--it came from one that I saw on That Other Site. But this kind of challenge is perfect, because I looooove music!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 12:34 AM
That's more than I generally do. Good job!

Wow, now that's more than I can keep up with--you'll pass me before long!
BrenndaMarie wrote on March 1, 2015, 5:17 AM
Wow, that is a lot of posts. You met your goal easier that is great. Have a wonderful day:)
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 1:34 PM
Yay, I'm glad you are motivated! It's my favorite challenge
LindaCPearson wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:25 PM
Wow, that is quite an achievement! I've only done 6 posts so far and even reaching 50 posts seems almost impossible to me. I admire your effort and determination.
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:33 PM
That's true--you can pick what you want to do--or in my case, what you are pretty sure you can do
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:35 PM
I'm still working on the PPMCP bit by bit. Wow, 1000 posts is a pretty long way off for me, but I'll work on it--I think you will get there sooner than I will!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:53 PM
I saw your post about having trouble finding a topic, and I gave you some advice. I also would recommend that when you read other people's posts, it will give you some ideas, too. Good luck!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:55 PM
Sure, that should be doable--it's less than two posts a day. Good luck!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 2:56 PM
I am looking forward to reading your updates!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 3:40 PM
To be honest, it was a pretty easy goal!
AliCanary wrote on March 1, 2015, 3:42 PM
Oh, no worries, just keep plugging along, and one day you'll lift up your head and realize you've come a great distance!
antoniowestley wrote on March 3, 2015, 12:39 AM
Hopefully I will be some where around that number when I finally begin my wave of writing I'm just glad to have found a place where I can build again with out having to worry about the chances of things going downhill
AliCanary wrote on March 3, 2015, 2:12 AM
This is a good place, and we should do all we can to ensure the success of the site and ourselves. I'm glad you're ready to pitch in!
