Zoom, zoom!

I HAVE JUST read a post by a new connection of mine Gina145 It's one of those 'Guess The Photo' posts and, if Gina145 doesn't mind me saying so, it was quite an easy one to solve - but that didn't really take the fun out of it at all!

Anyway, I thought I'd have a go at doing one myself - or should I say doing another one because I have previously posted one a while ago and it seemed to go down quite well.

This type of 'Guess The Photo' post was originally started some time ago by AngelSharum with THIS POST on abstract photos and they have proved to be quite popular and have generated some really odd answers to some really odd photos!

I don't think this one is too hard but I will do it the way I did the last time and not only show you the image to guess but also provide the answer as an anagram and as link to the full image by simply clicking on the anagram.

So here we go then. What do you think this might be. I will give you a clue. It is something many of us use every day. Oh, yes, I almost forgot - this image was taken with a Conrad USB microscope zoomed in several times and the real object is nowhere near this big!

Kasman

Or how about an anagram as a clue?

When you get fed up guessing click on the anagram to see the full image

INTERESTING FACT: Did you know that on a six-sided dice the dots on opposite sides always add up to seven?

Pretty clever all the way around -- more clever than I as I was not able to guess the photo or the anagram. Thanks for the fun, though. : )

Wow, I never would have guessed that.

I had no idea. I think I was thrown off by all of the fuzzies around it lol.

It was the fuzzy edges that kept me from thinking pencil. Very good. I admit I was too lazy to do the anagram and now I am sorry I didn't. I could have been so proud of myself for solving it. Next time I won't be in so much of a hurry to give up.

Bit confused by what you call an anagram. I am an anagram fan and the definition of anagram as I know is "a word, phrase, or name formed by rearranging the letters of another, such as spar, formed from rasp." would be happy if you could elaborate a bit more about your concept. And incidentally I clicked on what you call an anagram and got the answer. Weird to say the least emoticon

Anagrams for Kasman :
Sank Ma
Sank Am
Ska Man
Ask Man
Mask An

I could not guess this one, but it sure does look gross. The hairiness really makes it look a bit ghoulish. Must go now and take a look as to what that thing is.

Very clever. But what are all the fuzzies? I've never seen a pencil like that.

It's too late at night. I haven't a clue. Except for what looks like metal in the middle, it looks like the cross section of a tree, and that's much too big to be a shot from a microscopic subject. I wouldn't use that every day, either. I'm very bad at anagrams, so I'm just going to peak. Ah. I was close. It's a very small "tree branch" modified to help us write.

My wife bought a box of pencils which, for some reason, were wrapped individually in paper. The fuzzy bits are what was left when the paper was peeled off.

Very clever, I would not have guessed that.

Wow, considering what it actually is, it looks strangely furry.

Kasman I already know the answer, but it was a cool picture and I surely would not have guessed, but I am the worst at guessing!

This is interesting! I have to find an amazing image and make everyone guess too.
