Writers: What projects are you working on right now?

As I've mentioned before, I'm slightly slowing down my counseling practice to free up time for my doctoral work. (I did accept a new client yesterday, but it was somebody I've seen before. In fact, it was my first client after I graduated from my counseling masters program. I was flattered that they thought of me and wanted to come back to me for services.)

Anyhow.

I've been playing around with about five or six different writing projects and realized that I was getting nowhere on any of them. In the next week, I want to get my Christian counseling blog up and running. I have a lot of the posts written, but for some reason, word Preston install properly on my server so I need to sit down and troubleshoot, possibly with a friend who knows a little bit more about technology than me.

I'm also working on a book about the psychology of personal blogging. I haven't put the project on hold, but it's going slowly because I need to reach out to bloggers in an accessible and sensitive way and try to set up interviews.

My third project as an e-book, and possibly an Amazon printed version of the book that I've been writing since September. It didn't start out to be a book; I just wanted to put together some of my basic counseling principles in a printed or electronic form for my clients to refer to between sessions. Eventually, I realize that the public maybe interested and may benefit from this. I'm pretty passionate about it because it combines current best practices in psychology with solid biblical principles and scripture that actually backs up secular behavioral science.

I'm curious to know what my fellow writers are up to right now. What are your current projects? What are you hoping to accomplish in the next couple months?

As usual I have my fingers in many pies. I have finished writing my ebook, but haven't been able to work out the amazon tax form I need to fill in to publish it. I also have a contract with a freelance client to ghost write ebooks but that contract is currently on hold, I am doing research work for another freelance client, have just started my own blog a few weeks ago and am pretty active on here. All while completing the final year of my degree and maintaining a part-time job, although I don't work much.

I have two immediate goals as far as writing is concerned: I want to get this ebook published, I worked hard on it and its just sitting on my hard drive doing nothing so that's number one. I have also just got my adsense approval for my blog so I plan to try and get a bit more familiar with exactly how adsense works, I don't want to get banned for simply not knowing how it all works. Oh and I also promised some people on here that I would do another twitter tutorial post, I might try and get that done tonight.

I'm trying to write a murder mystery novel, but it's going quite slowly. I sometimes have a difficult time putting my thoughts into writing, and am unsure about myself, and such. That's why it's going slowly. But I hope to get it done soon.

You really have some worthwhile projects going on! I have no projects in the works that compare to yours!

I actually dont know. i did just try out O Desk for a bit, but think that is too much for me to do on top of my regular work. Might just be back to writing here unless i see/get something worthwhile on O desk..

I think you are running too many projects at the same time. Perhaps you can focus on just one or two. I hope you have time for rest.

Writing blog posts for various places this weekend. One on the weather, a couple on entrepreneurs and a couple more on conveyor belts and rollers. Extracting posts from the other site. Listing eBay items (yes, I know that's not a writing project as such, but the descriptions take some time).

I have a few writing sites under my belt and its hard to manage all of them. I am trying each one which better works for me.
