Rip - My Father-in-Law Will Be Missed

The above photo is of my eldest son sitting in the middle of his grandparents. They are my husband's parents. Sadly, my husband's Dad has passed just recently. Last Saturday, my husband's dad passed away in his sleep. He was suffering from a terrible bug. We don't know why he died, but it seems he couldn't handle being very ill. Later, that day he just died in his sleep. He was always a kind, loving person. I remember him always trying to make his grand kids laugh. When my sons were younger, I remember, how he played games with them whenever we visited and he would happily entertain them. He had suffered from bowel and stomach cancer, but he bravely got through all of that. I hope he is now with his wife in heaven. Rest in peace Joe Larkin, you will be missed. I'm sorry for your loss. I've been there, too. My father, who suffered from COPD, had just recovered from one bout of pneumonia suddenly came down with another, then suffered a heart attack in the ER before they could move him to ICU. We knew he would not be around much longer, but we didn't expect it to be that night.
