Lazy day!

Do you ever just have a lazy day at home where the plan is to literally not to do much at all? It has been a pretty manic half term really and the week has flown by. I have been a bit like a bear with a sore head at points as they have changed my depression/insomnia medication and I am not sure that is agreeing with me and so I just wanted to take today as a chilled day at home, no make up, potter about and generally just catch up on things.

My son is in the kitchen at the table doing his homework as he is off to his Dad's tomorrow for the weekend. The dog is curled up around my feet on the sofa and I am catching up online. It is almost lunch time here in the UK though and so I will need to sort that out soon then perhaps a movie under the duvet this afternoon would be nice.

What is your favourite way to spend a chilled day at home?

Picture is my own.

I love lazy days. I grab a good book, a great mug of decaf coffee and a small plate of chocolate chip biscuits and then curl up on the sofa with a throw over my legs and settle back for a good read - absolute bliss!

A lazy day is in front of a warm fire with a book, a coffee, some chocolate and perhaps background music. Enjoy your duvet afternoon.

It's nice to have a lazy day once in a while. I love just relaxing, watching TV, or reading a book, spending time with my family, or something like that.

I have days when I say to myself that I plan on doing nothing and that is exactly what I do... nothing! LOL! To chill, i just listen to music of read a good book. Sometimes, I watch some mind numbing show on tv.

So many things to do which come under 'doing nothing'like sitting down work ,I still feel guilty so why is that?

Alalzy day with a dog and a mug of coffee sounds pretty good. I enjoy both but really miss a decent film on the TV, the choice here in Greece is limited and there are lots of repeats.

A rest is as good as a change. Enjoy your lazy day, it sounds as though you deserve it.

I like lazy days. I go online, read a good book and watch something good on the television.

Lounging by the pool with a good book always works for me.

I usually try to make Sunday my lazy day. I'll sleep in, get online, watch television, basically spend the day lounging before getting back into writing and babysitting the next day.

When the weather is chilly I definitely prefer to stay indoors. A movie, a book, a good long nap... take your pick! I love them all LOL.
