What are your top tips for this site?

I haven't been on this site very long and have had little time to post and interact really what with either work, the house, the dog or my son! I used to write on the "other" site and notice some similarities between the two but I am still trying to work out what works best around here.

I tend to post and then go through the post visiting people who have been kind enough to leave me a comment and then if I have time I hit the home page and look for new things to read. I believe there are many people here from the other side and so I hope I can find some of my regular connections as I miss the interaction with them.

Have you got a specific way of posting on here? Do you find returning likes and comments works best or do you build up connections and hope for the best? If you could share one top tip with me what would it be?

Picture is my own.

I am not very focused on the revenue sharing sites yet but do visit. Probably commenting more on other people's posts would help earn us better revenue here.

I've not been here long either but I have reached the conclusion it's a slow burner and I'm not sure what the secret to success is.

I haven't been here long either. Not to mention that you appear to be doing 'better' than I am at the moment. With that said, I'm kinda with NorthernLight in the idea that the site is a bit 'slow.' There are members here who I've known for well over a decade from another site, yet they either aren't very active or they have started with a 'new group.' For me, this is an 'experiment' while I contemplate my future with "the other" site. Any new site is going to potentially a bit slow when getting yourself 'established.' However, I'm not even getting much by way of 'reads' at the moment. I know Staff has 'chastised' some members for not 'interacting enough' and simply posting, evidently figuring that's where the money is made. I know we supposedly get paid for commenting, etc. and I suspect that is what they consider to be key. Beyond that, I can't be very helpful at this point.

Interaction. And while commenting (just make sure your comment's length is 30 characters so they will pay you.) try to post something so, while your post is being view and like you are also earning from commenting. God bless.

Lots of interaction and posting about interesting topics.

Just write and interact a lot. Mostly just try to have fun and make some new friends

Just like the other place in as much as the more that you interact the better you do...

This is my first blogging site but I seem to be navigating it much like you.

Perhaps the only tip I can give you is to be consistent. That means login every day and do something.

I tend to comment first, then write, unless I have something burning a hole in my head.

I am only popping in here now and then when I can get a free minute so I have no tips other than do not do what I do LOL.

I think posting an attractive photo of yourself in the profile section as you have done is a great way to gain interest.

I have not been that active here as of yet. The way you are doing things seem like a good way to go. I will post and go through the new activities and comments on people posts who have commented on mine. I too do not have much time to spend here.

Since you can't see who likes or e comments are the only way to know who has visited your content. I tend to use them as a jumping off point for my reading and commenting, but I also like to look at the front page and some of the category pages, as well as my notifications and the most recent additions to the membership list. As on other social sites, looking through comments on another user's post may introduce me to a writer I hadn't previously met. While I mostly see folks I already know, I will often realize I haven't visited one of these people in some time. It's fun to catch up :)
